Anything else?
Happily I haven't needed to stay in the hospital myself but have attended a number of outpatient clinics at which I have always found everyone involved - from consultant down to clerks - to be pleasant and doing their job properly. However I do know people whose experience of being an inpatient has left much to be desired. What was that about care and compassion? Sadly there are a number of nurses who don't know the meaning of those two words. It is a pity they don't remember that one day they may be ill and need a nurses attention. Another immutable fact is that one day they will be old themselves and may need the attention of a nurse - oh dear! What a shame if they get someone just like themselves. Incidentally I clicked on 'Read all 158 comments' but only 11 came up and of those 54.5% were derogatory. 'Taking Pride in Caring' as a motto is empty if it is not made sure that everyone understands what this means and upholds it in their daily work.
"careing and compassionate??"
