Day care surgery to the knee at the Burnley hospital. Never again. Two days after the surgery the knee kept bleeding and after a visit to the A&E, A Klebsiella stomach infection was transferred into my knee. This put me in Blackburn hospital for just over a week and a further two operations then two weeks in Burnley and another two visits in theatre. At present I am still unable to walk without aid, the knee is constantly in pain and permanently swollen. Currently I am waiting for assessments for being left disabled now. I have had no response to my enquiry as of yet. This all happened from the 27th March 2013.
