"Second to none care for Ulcerative Colitis"

About: Rotherham Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2008, but ended up having surgery in 2010, leaving me with a permanent stoma. The care I received from my own GP`s, IBD Doctors and Specialist Nurse were first class and the Surgeon I had was second to none, all were, and still are, extremely caring people. The people in the Stoma Department are always very helpful, as are the Nurses at the Stoma Prescription Service. If I ever feel the need to talk to any of these people they will always be willing to listen and help, even after 3 years. I cannot thank them enough for the care I have received and am still receiving.
