I delivered my first baby on the 4th of July 2011 but unfortunately it was an extremely premature labour (due to incompetent cervix) as I was only 22 weeks when I have delivered and the baby could not survive. But I would like to thank all the staff of Jessop as they were very caring and supportive to ease my heartache on the most dreadful day of my life. I would like to particularly thank midwife as she was one of the excellent human beings I have ever met. She was with me during labour and gave me the strength to cope through with the hard time. She even assured me before finishing off her shift that she will make sure that the angel baby is given all care and affection until he was buried on his funerals day which was held 10 days after delivery. And also she took the extra mile to attend our baby's funerals too when she got to know we are from a different country and we don't have any relatives/friends who would be attending the funeral. My hubby and I are ever so grateful to her. It's been 2 years now and she sends me text on the birthday of my angel baby. And am currently pregnant, 25 weeks and had a cervical suture in place to prevent me going to preterm labour and so far things are looking good. I am really really hoping that I can make it to full term this time and I can hold my little one for whom I have longed for so long. I would be extremely happy if the original midwife is on duty around my expected due date, as that will give me more support and confidence during the birthing experience. Please pass on my loads of heartfelt thanks to her.
