"I got a letter after appointment was arranged"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

I saw a doctor with pain in my legs and back. Recommended physio treatment at Newport Cottage Hospital, who rang and made an appointment. I was dealt with well by the physio department.

I am not sure what TRAQS had to do with all of this. I got a letter after it was all arranged.

Thank you for your feedback.

All referrals for Newport Cottage Physiotherapy should be directed toTRAQS by your GP in the first instance. TRAQS then processes the referral and notifies you by letter that your referral has been passed on to Newport Cottage Physiotherapy for them to action the request. Sometimes a GP may also approach the clinic separately to initiate an appointment. This can cause duplication of effort.

Nevertheless, I am glad that you received an appointment and I hope you feel the benefit of your treatment in due course.
