"AMD appointment"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital

Anything else?

Well-received at the Reception and directed to the appropriate waiting area. After a short wait patient escorted to have drops in his eyes and then for the scan. Again after a short wait he was called by the doctor for the assessment. As the patient is profoundly deaf I was required to act as interpretor. The doctor agreed to send a report to the patient so that he would be fully acquainted with the findings. He was informed that the next appointment would be in December when he would receive the Licentis to his left eye. The appointment letter arrived 3 days later which was excellent. All in all the staff in the AMD department were excellent.
