Anything else?
I was taken into this hospital on Thursday evening the 8th of August 2013 after suffering with Kidney stones for four days (long term problem) The care and staff attitude was second to none, however. After excellent treatment my pain eased and I was discharged at 0330 in the morning, I find that as a 67 year old disabled man this is totally un acceptable. I am sure this is hospital policy and certainly not the decision of the staff on duty are allowed to make. At the time the department (minor injury's) was nearly empty and also reception was empty. This is highly unusual for this hospital but never the less true, surely I could have been allowed to stay until public transport started some 4 hours later? Fortunately I could afford the £26.50 taxi fare home but what if it was someone who could not. I do not want an Ambulance home or free transport but surely a more sensible time would have been after 0700
