"Hand wash disinfectant"

About: St Helier Hospital

Anything else?

My husband was admitted for observation with the result of an insect bite and he received excellent care but I did notice on both wards he was in C5 and assessment ward there was no noticeable hand disinfectant wash on the entry to both wards. Surely this must be rectified.

Thank you for your feedback. We take infection prevention very seriously and empty disinfectant hand wash dispensers are not acceptable. We have spoken to both wards and the hand disinfectant situation has been rectified. Dr James Marsh Joint Medical Director
