I like this quote from Hayley in Coronation Street "I can't control everyone talking about me I can control what I'm thinking. I have my mind as a refuge. " Unfortunately I don't have that luxury.
I am bipolar and suffer severe anxiety so sometimes I can't control what's going on in my head. I moved to another surgery but I had a problem with a doctor there as we disagreed on the medication I needed. I suffer from an autoimmune condition called Sjogrens syndrome and this leaves me in pain.
I returned to my original surgery which is nearer to where I live and the advocacy service supported me with a clear the air meeting I needed with my original doctor.
Matt from the advocacy service was kind and wonderful. He was excellent and got across everything I wanted to say. He really listened to me and got everything across and also put it all in writing. He was so kind and caring and it really helped me.
