I was not looking forward to my visit following all the horror stories around concerning A&E departments. My fears were totally groundless, luckily this department was not flooded with patients on my visit, although very busy. I only had to wait thirty minutes. Both the doctors and nurses treated me with respect and in no way did I feel like my problem was being treated in any other than a very professional manner. I felt everyone had time for me, even the nice man in reception.
