Exactly a year ago today (4th Aug), I gave birth to my baby girl. I was induced at 38 weeks due to cholestasis. It was a daunting time for me; a first time mum. All of the staff on Wheal Rose were lovely and looked after me well. I could not have asked for a better birthing experience. My partner and I had an amazing midwife to help us through my labour and bring our little girl into the world. She even held my hand when I had my drip put in, I'm scared of needles! I will never forget what she did, thank you so much :) From the James family x
