"Chickenpox and high temperature/vomiting"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

My 14 month old daughter developed an high temperature and vomiting whilst suffering with chickenpox, after seeking advice from NHS direct we took her to A&E. The nurses and all staff involved provided an excellent reassuring service. They dealt with my daughter with swiftness and kindness. Myself and my family would like to say a big thank you to the paediatric unit in A&E. We left after a couple of hours knowing she had been well looked after and we felt totally reassured she would be fine.
