I recently attended the Urgent Care Centre at Guy's and was very impressed by the way in which I was treated. Registration was straightforward and after a short wait, of about 20minutes, I was seen by a nurse/practitioner. My injury was quickly assessed and I was sent off for an Xray, which again took only a short while. From there I was directed back to the Urgent Care Centre, to discuss the results of the Xray and to be briefed on how best to cope with, and treat, my injured foot. The whole process was very well managed and professional and a credit to the NHS.
