Anything else?
I recently gave birth to my second child at Kingston Hospital. Aimed to have a VBAC after a c-section at St Thomas's. In the end I had an emergency c-section. I wanted to write and say what excellent care I received from the hospital during every stage of my pregnancy, labour and post natally. The midwives were very supportive during my labour, listening to me throughout and updating me regularly, the consultant was equally communicative and laid out my options clearly. The c-section was carried out very efficiently - excellent anaesthetist and excellent job by the consultant and registrar throughout the operation. Post care was very good as well. All the midwives were fully informed of my case, provided very helpful advice with breast-feeding and always came promptly when requested. The staff all seemed to be happy working in the maternity unit and that made such a difference to the whole experience. Thank you.
