"end of life"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

my father was rushed into A& E on July 30th following a massive heart attack at home. sadly he was pronounced dead. However the staff could not have been more caring or helpful. They took care of my 84 year old mother with great sensitivity and patience until I arrived and could not have been more helpful or supportive of us. They provided drinks and answered our questions patiently, carefully repeating as often as necessary to make sure we had taken it in. They treated my father with great respect and made it very clear that we were welcome to stay for as long as we needed. Thank you to everyone for making a distressing time a little more bearable.
