"Heart Attack"

About: Eastbourne District General Hospital

Anything else?

I suffered a heart attack on the evening of March 1st and from the moment my wife telephoned NHS Direct everything went brilliantly. NHS after a few questions called an ambulance that arrived in 5 mins. I was taken to the DGH and was reviewed as soon as I arrived. Later taken up to the Cardiology Ward. The following day had a stent fitted and later undewent a Cardio version procedure. May I say at all times the staff were magnificent. I was treated with respect at all times and everything was explained to me as we went on. The staff went about their respective jobs with efficiency but at all times with humour. I particularly would praise the staff on at night who had to deal with two very difficult patients, their patiance was admirable. So thank you DGH and all your staff you are 1st class.
