I never write reviews, or have felt so compelled to do so but I feel so overwhelmed by this persons attitude that I have to write this review. I called up as I have been referred to the Eye Infirmary by my GP due to an inflammation and severe pain in my eye. I only called to see what the wait times were like as I have to take time of work and maybe there was a quieter period I could go. All I was met with was a disgusting tone and attitude from the woman who answered the phone. She spoke to me as if I was wrong to call and repeated everything I said but turned it into a question. I am so appalled that I had to hang up. At 31 years of age I have never been spoken to like that in my life. Absolutely diabolical. I am now suffering in work as I am too angry to actually go to the hospital in case this person is there. At this point in time I want to take this to higher management and see that this person gets reprimanded and re-trained (or even trained) to some passable some level of customer service. I have always stood up for NHS staff but this person is a disgrace.
