"the staff were fantastic,"

About: Dorset County Hospital

Anything else?

Despite men and women having desperate bays, it was a dread full shock to ,meet men patients in the corridor when going to the toilet. This did give me moment of reel pannick! No dignity there. I forbade male visitors as I wished to maintain my dignity, but it was not catered for in the hospital establishment. The staff were fantastic and were very courteous and carrying.

Thank you for your taking the time to post your comments. The dignity of our patients is very important to us, and although we do have separate bays for male and female, it is understandable that you are concerned about meeting male patients in the corridors. I will raise your concerns with the gynaecology team. Sarah Silverton Patient & Public Experience Lead, Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
