Anything else?
After a scan at another hospital I was referred to MRI. The consultant took the trouble to phone me at home, at night immediately he had seen the scan, to tell me to report next morning. I was operated on, for what was a life-threatening condition, successfully. The time I then spent in Critical Care, High Dependency and a normal ward, was characterised by the care and attention paid by all the staff and the high degree of professionalism of the nurses. The consultant and his team were also most attentive, visiting at least once daily and sometimes twice. The whole experience made me most appreciative of the NHS
