I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April 2013 and, though I had my prostate removed at Derby on 1st July, I have had dealings with Kings Mill both before and after that operation. I have been impressed with the care and attention from the Consultant, the specialist nurse, Ward 21 and all the other staff I have had contact with. They have been kind and considerate and totally professional. I cannot fault their care - I did not expect them to phone me after the operation to enquire how I was doing. As someone who had never had an operation before (and was therefore fearing the worst), I felt in safe hands all the way.
