"Treated with patience and care"

About: Spire Methley Park Hospital

Anything else?

84 years old and referred with a hand problem. Consultant was incredibly patient going through all the options and considering the impact on home life after surgery. All the staff went beyond their jobs to line up a suitable date for pre-assessment and the surgery itself. Thank you all very much.

I am pleased the staff gave you plenty of time to make the best decision. The consultant remembers talking to you about the options and wanted to make sure you would be able to manage at home after your operation. This should be easier with a bandaged hand rather than a full plaster cast. Our whole pre-assessment process aims to make sure everyone is prepared for coming in and also going home safely after their procedure. Kind regards Chris Harrison, Hospital Director
