"Horrible place for post natal care(specially..."

About: Northwick Park Hospital

Anything else?

I just have been to the hospital for my first baby. I was in antenatal ward for first 3 days for induction of labour. I was in Edith ward and I've been admitted to the same ward @32 weeks for some pregnancy related problem, I was very satisfied for the staff, care and all other things when admitted @32 weeks. Same experience I had for Edith ward for antenatal care and extremely satisfied. Then I had to go for emergency c-section. All doctors and staff were amazing there as well, Then I was transferred to post-natal ward. This was horrible place for post-natal. I was feeling terrified there with midwives (specially night staff midwives). Most of the midwives were expecting patient who were in ward just before few hours to be a normal person and didn't help for any care for baby and patient. They were shouting on patient. I was feeling like they've been treating us like slave. They were just there to check BP/Temperature/pulses. Not any help for people who recently had c-section and in pain to help for baby and patient care. It made me feel like that we are burden on them and they didn't wanted us to be there. It is better to be at home for care with family where at least we looked after better than there. I was feeling like I am leaving hell when I was discharged. Though I was discharged on 3rd day of C-Section, I was happy and not worried about not being in care of trained staff. I feel family can take more care than them. I would never suggest any one to go there for surgery, It feels like HELL in post natal care.
