"Outstanding care after RTA"

About: Furness General Hospital

Anything else?

From the moment the 2 paramedics arrived to the final all clear, the service was amazing! We were involved in a RTA with an articulated lorry on the M6 and the ambulance arrived very swiftly and the two paramedics were brilliant; they calmed both my pregnant wife and 6 year old daughter down whilst ascertaining that there were no life threatening injuries. At A&E the triage nurse saw us all very quickly and arranged a swift scan to check that our unborn baby (25 weeks) was fine! A very traumatic experience was considerably lessened by the staff as a whole - we really cannot thank them enough!
