"Caring and compassionate"

About: Queen Victoria Hospital (East Grinstead) / Oral surgery

(as a parent/guardian),

My 11 year old daughter was referred for emergency dental treatment last week by our local A&E department. Attended the QVH at East Grinstead and the staff were 'absolutely fantastic' from the moment we arrived - receptionist, outpatients department, dental unit, Peanut Ward and surgery team. They explained everything relating to her treatment/surgery to her and went out of their way to reassure her. At first, she was reluctant to be admitted to the hospital for surgery and wanted to go home, but the staff put her at ease and spoke to her in a manner that she fully understood. She stayed over night and 'enjoyed' her stay!

Thank you for your positive feedback. It is important to us that we make all patients as comfortable as possible during their time with us and it is always pleasing to hear when we achieve the standards we set ourselves. Please be assured that your comments have been passed onto the nusing staff on Peanut ward.
