This is not my local hospital but I work in the health service and I have to say that I was very impressed with the standard of care that my mother received after being taken ill. She's in her 60s and was very poorly with severe breathing difficulties. From A&E she went to a medical unit area and then on to a ward. The care throughout was good. Tests were done quickly, we were kept informed and talked to, treatment was given and thank god, recovery made from what turned out to be a pneumonia. We're very grateful and I really can't say more than that.
