As a nurse myself I have to say the medical and nursing care my mother in law received at Burton hospital was amongst the best I've seen. My mother in law is 87 and became very confused. Within minutes of arrival she had had an ECG and blood taken and within an hour a chest X-ray and CT scan. the nursing care throughout was exemplary. She had drinks and was checked on regularly. Both A and E and the ward were highly efficient and even though their computers were down for the week end they cared for my mother in law with respect and great efficiency. I Would recommend Burton to anyone .
