About: Royal National Throat, Nose & Ear Hospital

Anything else?

Planned admission for pre, peri and post-op care/treatment. Surgery could not go ahead due to nursing staff's incompetencies. Lots of navy blue on B ward but they were all deskilled in certain aspects of nursing, which I required. Consultant was very nice throughout though and he too was also shocked at the level of nursing care on offer. Other issues: ward very old. No sign of any domestic staff. Room/floor never cleaned for the duration of my stay. Slept in the same bed for 4 days. No clean sheets as no one made my bed. Quite a shocking experience! Would not recommend RNTNEH to anyone!
