"Liverpool pathway"

About: North Manchester General Hospital

Anything else?

My mother broke her hip in 2008 and was on ward i5. She doing well for over a week. Then she started with the runs as she put it. The staff knew about it but did nothing for days till i asked didnt they think they should do something. It was days later before they did any tests and found she had C DIFF They then put her in a dirty side ward. She was left in soiled wet bedding They hid the bell so she couldnt ask for help. She was told just to soil the bed. With proper care she would have been ok but with the total lack of care she got she got so bad that they put her on the Liverpool pathway to cover up their treatment of her and get her out of the way.
