I had toe surgery yesterday. I was very impressed with the care I received. I stayed on Minster Ward for the day. The nurses and helpers were very friendly, kind and nothing was too much trouble. The anaesthesia team were fantastic, I was nervous, however, everything was explained so I felt relaxed and reassured. The Consultant explained the procedure clearly giving all the risks, he has a great sense of humour which makes it a relaxed atmosphere. I was given a sandwich and a cup of tea and the staff again were very friendly. I was kindly escorted to the car when I was ready to leave. Thank you to all the staff who helped with my toe operation. Christine Watson
