Unfortunately I found myself having a miscarriage at 12 weeks pregnant which in itself is a distressing things to go through, however this was made slightly worse having been sent to out of hours at Stobhill by NHS 24 and then transferred by ambulance to A&E at the royal inf.
However the nurse that looked after me in A&E was the most caring individual both myself and my husband ever have met. She made the whole awful experience bearable reassuring both of us after clearly see how distressed we were.
I didn't realise at the time but have since been told at a follow up appointment that I was actually quite poorly due to blood loss, however the nurse never acted like there was anything for me to worry about other than keeping myself and my husband strong.
I would personally like to thank the nurse I think her name was Bernadette? ? And would like her to know I have made a full recovery and I am looking forward to our family future thanks to her excellent care. She was a true angel!
"Nurse was a true angel!"
