Anything else?
The care given in the maternity dept of this hospital was tante amount to neglect when my grand daughter had her son( first born) on July 22nd at 6-30 am.The staff left her unattended straight after the birth,Baby wasn't weighed or cleansed. He was left in a dirty bloody towel.Mum was left in a bloody bed, unwashed and not even offered a cup of tea.A complaint was made to the staff 2 hours after the birth. The 6 staff were directly outside her room on the delivery suite! They eventually went to attend to both mother and child 3 hours after delivery.Mum wasn't moved to an antinatal ward untill 2-30pm.There was NO bath where she could cleanse herself after a difficult birth that involves a manual removal of baby and stitches to Mums nether regions.Mum was discharged after 2 days with an infection and feeling thoroughly depressed due to lack of pain relief she asked for. What is going on in this hospitals' maternity Dept. is anybodys' guess!
