Visited the A&E because of bleeding during pregnancy, was made to wait for over 3 hours and the Gynaecologist who checked me, was wearing gloves and touching every single object in the room including a lamp that was full of dried blood and finally came to make an internal observation still wearing the same gloves. To call it shocking hygiene standards is an understatement. I was so scared that I couldn't sleep for weeks after that. The same doctor told me that she would do a referal and in the morning they would call me to give me a time slot for CT scan next day and when they didn't call I called back only to be told that there wasn't any referal under my name so had to make another appointment.
