I wish to offer belated thanks to the consultant and all the medical and clinical staff for the kind, thoughtful and communicative care that was given to me while undergoing a hernia operation last January. At all stages, from the initial consultation to the day of the operation, I was kept well informed, and my questions were answered with patience and good humour. The operation has proved over time to have been a complete success, which is a tribute to all concerned. I am full of admiration for the professional skill and thoughtful care of all those involved.
