"Extremely Rude Staff - Dread having to visit again..."

I often need to visit this a and e department because of my employment. The staff seem to have signed an agreement to be as collectively unhelpful, obstructive and rude as they can possibly be (to keep patients at bay perhaps?) Patient treatment rooms often dirty, bloodstained, soiled and staff seem genuinely disinterested in anything except talking with each other, staring blankly and arbitrarily at computer monitors behind the nurses station and actively ignoring visitors to the department. I have been in regular contact with this unit for years and its never been any different. I feel so sorry for any patient who has to visit these people for their so-called 'care'.
