Anything else?
I went in on Thursday 18th July to have my right side of my thyroid removed as it had a big lump on it. I had not had an operation since I was 4 years old so I kept an opened mind. I always remembered that strong smell of disinfectant that hospitals used to have but I could not smell it. It all seemed very clean & nice. The staff all seemed nice especially one nurse who took me to down theatre & she also rang my husband to tell him that I had come out of theatre & I was back on the ward. Geddington ward was nice, bright & clean. Another nurse was helpful & cancelled an ultrasound appointment for me which was for the following week after my op. So they managed to change my appointment & on Saturday I received my new appointment letter- that was very quick. Thank you to the Consutants and staff for their care.
"Very pleased with everything"
