Yesterday (18.07.13) I visited the childrens outpatient department with my son for a pre-op assessment. This is the first time we had visited the Princess Royal, we normal go to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. I was so impressed with the unit, from the the receptionist to the lovely nurse who saw us. We were the last appointment of the day, and even after, I'm sure, a long day on duty the staff were in no rush to get us in and out. My son was put at ease and every thing was well explained (he's almost looking forward to going back for his operation on Monday!) Thanks to all for a very proffesional yet caring visit.
