Through no fault of the surgical team, my husband had unexpected, life threatening complications after surgery to his knee. I cannot thank enough all the people involved in looking after him both in the Day Care Unit and particularly the Intensive Care unit. The dedication, level of care and respect shown to my husand was second to none and without doubt saved his life and the sensitive and caring manner shown towards me (as a wife) together with clear explanations of what was wrong and the treatment my husband was receiving made a very scary situation somewhat easier and we cannot thank enough all the people involved in looking after him (and me) enough.
