Anything else?
I was diagnosed with having a Meningioma - a brain tumour - and within 10 days I was admitted for surgery. I cannot give enough praise to the Neurosurgeons who performed my operation and their surgical team. My husband was kept informed and was made to feel that no question he had was too trivial. I would also like to thank all the staff on K Floor, Ward Q4, the Physiotherapist Adam, Occupational Therapist and Speech Therapist for their part in my recovery, nothing was too much trouble for them. I had never been in hospital before for more than one night - I was in this time for 18 days - so I was apprehensive especially due to the nature of my surgery, but I was made to feel at ease especially regarding the anaesthesia which I was particularly worried about. All the staff were cheerful and approachable, even when they were really busy and they deserve every penny they are paid. I have had my first follow up appointment with my Consultant & Registrar and again I could not fault their care. I can't remember the names of all the staff, they were too many to remember but I give my heartfelt thanks to all of them. I am now well on the way to recovery. Diane Caborn
