About: Stepping Hill Hospital

I was taken into this hospital and had comments made at my expense by the a&e staff. I felt bullied. The person that came with me to the hospital was also disgusted by the way i was treated. There was an elderly woman in the bay opposite me who was left shouting for someone to help her as staff walked past ignoring her. Disgusted.

I am very sorry that you had such an experience and am concerned to hear what you both experienced and witnessed. I have forwarded your comments to the Head of Nursing for the department this morning and asked her to discuss your comments with her staff. Once again I am very sorry for what happened to you and hope this will not discourage you from using Stockport NHS Foundation Trust Services in the future as I genuinely believe this kind of treatment to be an exception to the norm.

I sincerely apologise that these were not been responded to in a timely manner.

This was due to lack of administrative support at the time which has now been rectified.
