What I liked

my 10wk old son was in heartlands not so long ago and i found all the staff very helpfull and considerate. not only did they explain everything that they were doing and why but they looked after my son for me while i had a break. overall i found heartlands hospital a very nice and clean hosp and all the staff were warm and friendly as were the night staff.

What could be improved

i think that parents staying in hospital with there children should have meals provided aswell.

Catering requirements in the Paediatric ward are carefully calculated to ensure older children well enough and able to eat are offered a choice of meals that are both nutritionally balanced and in top condition. We do have several competitively priced catering units on site providing meals and refreshments for visitors and parents staying with their children. Further information on the location of these outlets can be obtained from Ward staff.
