"Frightened Grandson"

About: North Tyneside General Hospital

Anything else?

In May this year my grandson Cameron had to attend this hospital after a fall from a tree and a broken arm that needed pinning, this hospital was amazing in the care and consideration from everyone from reception to Surgeon. An exceptional service is provided at what feel like a Cottage Hospital in atmosphere but with all the facilities one expects from a large hospital. Thank you to all concerned for making what was a disaster into a memorable experience. Regards Josie

Dear Josie, Many thanks for this lovely note. I can only imagine how frightened poor Cameron was after his fall. I do hope he is well on the mend now. Thank you for your kind feedback. I am so pleased that you were delighted with the care and consideration you were shown as a family. The friendly atmosphere you describe is exactly what we'd want all our patients to feel and I'm delighted that you found this warmth in every member of staff you came across. Your recommendation means a great deal to us - I will pass on to all in emergency care and on ward 10; I know how much pride they take in a job well done. With kind regards and best wishes to Cameron, Annie Annie Laverty
