In an age when the NHS is in the news almost every day for all the wrong reasons, this hospital must surely be their jewel in the crown. I had a total knee replacement last week and the level of care I received from pre-op through surgery to post-op really was first class. The surgeon and anaesthatist went to great lengths to comfort and reassure. All the staff are courteous, informative and very attentive providing patients with the best possible care. The hospital itself it meticulously, spotlessly clean. This really is a first rate hospital of which the NHS should be rightly proud.
