In September 05 my husband had a stroke and went to the Norfolk and Norwich hospital. When he came home after eight days he had no feeling in his right leg and only part feeling in his right hand.
No one asked how we would manage at home because I am disabled and can not drive. No one came to see if my husband needed any help, with toilet or bathing. He only had a physio call on three occasions for half an hour to teach him to walk from the chair to bathroom. We have had no help whatever, we have just been left to get on with it.
