Having had a fall and realising I needed an X-ray enquired where the nearest A &E was - a trip to Kendall or Barrow. Quick call to check that Kendall was the right place to go, arrived and dealt with by admin professionally. Unit obviously busy but was seen, x-rayed, diagnosed and plastered within 2 hours. Amazing staff, doing an amazing job on a very hot day when lots of patients were presenting with a wide variety of accidents. I am sorry to have added to the workload and would like to pass on my grateful thanks to the professionals who looked after me. What was especially helpful was being informed of length of time we could expect when we arrived and being apologised to for length of wait once we seen, although this was not the staffs fault - just the number of people accessing the services at the same time. Unfortunately the Minor Injuries department do have a box to tick but radiology ladies were great too !
