About: The Tunbridge Wells Hospital

Anything else?

Had a hearing test on 9th May 2013. Results indicated I need aids for both ears. Heard this morning that hearing aids will be available no later than 15th August. That is 14 weeks after the test. I find this totally unacceptable, in particular , as I saw on the NHS Choices website that the average is 4 to 5 weeks from first test to final fitting.

Thank you for your comments. We are sorry to learn that you have had such a long wait for your hearing aids. If you would like us to look into this in more detail or provide you with further information, please contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on mtwpals@nhs.net where a member of the team will be happy to help. Kind regards, The PALS Team (AS)
