Anything else?

Where to begin? I was referred to the clinic following abnormal smear results. All anyone would tell me before the appointment was that it was abnormal and I had been referred for a colposcopy. I arrived at my appointment alone to be told it was pre cancerous cells and they were very concerned. Whilst in the chair for colposcopy I was then told I was having the Lletz procedure done and was injected with local anaesthetic. My legs began to shake and I asked if I would be okay to drive. I was told I should have taken someone with me but not to worry, i'd be given a cup of tea afterwards so I would be okay to drive home. I was not asked any questions about my medical history and I suffer with high BP, surely that is important to check if im being given a drug and told my heart will start racing?? Firstly, I should have be warned to take someone and that I should not have driven, secondly, no one would tell me anything. The consultant said to ring up in 2 weeks for the results. I called after two weeks to be told by a member of staff with no empathy at all that my results were back and they were looking at them, but couldn't give them to me. Practically called my a liar when I said the doc told me to ring!! Spoke to the consultant a couple of days later who would not give me the results and said they would see me again in clinic to discuss. its been another 2 weeks and ive had no results other than to be told my smear suggested cancer, no letter, no appointments, nothing. its my body and they are my results but I cant get any answers. I feel like ive been treated like a statistic and now no one cares about how stressed I am at all. No clear information is given and your left to feel like you have been forgotten. Not impressed at all!! I had a number of symptoms and was being referred to the department anyway, I was not even asked about these, I was rushed into a room for this procedure without time to even think. now its been done, my concerns have not even been addressed about my symptoms which have not gone away.
