"The TRAQS system is slow and complicated"

About: Euston House Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

I visited the physio - Nicki Chiltel at Euston Way physiotherapy.

After all my problems she managed to go straight to a care package and see how she could help - she told me what was wrong and why.

The TRAQS system is slow and complicated, I did not ask for it. The people on the phone can be condescending and unhelpful.

My physio lady was brilliant.

Thank you for taking the time to complete the questionnaire. The care provided by all NHS staff is of overriding importance and we are pleased to note that you received a high standard of care.

I am disappointed to read your comments regarding TRAQS. On the whole the TRAQS service/team have received very positive feedback in the year we have been in existence. We aim to provide a high quality service for all patients.

TRAQS processes all first outpatient appointments within the Telford and Wrekin GP practice area. I am sorry that you feel that on this occasion TRAQS failed to meet the high standards we aim for. I would like to reassure you that it is not TRAQs intention to be condescending in any way and we have in the past, and will continue to go out of our way, whenever necessary to ensure that patients questions and concerns are dealt with effectively.

I am sure you can appreciate that we cannot answer all patients queries. However, thank you for taking the time to comment. We appreciate all constructive feedback.
