What I liked
Suspected lung cancer in April. Confirmed with X rays and scans. An operation was possible and I was given a date for admission 5 days after the consultant consultation. All went well. The staff were very caring. The hospital was clean and I was kept well informed throughout my 10 day stay. Now 100% clear and only need to go for check ups. A great service. The NHS at its best. PS I never smoked.
