On behalf of myself and my family I would like to thank all staff who were involved in the care of our mother ( 89 years old) in the last few days of her life, from the ambulance crew, paramedics,doctors to the nurses.On 9th October, late afternoon, Mother was taken by ambulance to A&E with a suspected broken pelvis.She spent the night in the observation ward and returned to residential care at Wentworth Croft. On 16th October she was re-admitted to PDH to the Coronary Care Unit and in the evening transferred to a side room in the surgical ward on the second floor 2x where she peacefully passed away. All the staff who were involved in her care were very professional, caring and compassionate. Thank you once again to all staff who were involved in care of our mother.
