Anything else?
my wife went into bolton hospital on Thursday 30th June, at 7.00am, she eventually had her operation at 3.15pm, having had nothing to eat or drink since 9.00pm the previous day, after returning from her op, at 8.15pm, she asked for something to eat an drink, the nurse was very rude, just plonked a brown paper bag on her bed, my wife asked what it was, and she replied, open it and have a look, and walked away, in the bag was a ham sandwiche and a strawberry yogurt, seeing as my wife is allergic to most fruit, and strawberries being one of the worst, she was horrified to see it, if she had not been fully aware of this then this could have had serious consequences,My wife then pressed her buzzer, the same nurse walked to the ward door looked at her and turned away, sending in another nurse, overall the actions of one nurse turned what is already a traumatic time into what could have been a tragic time. This goes to show that even though they ask questions regarding medication, allergies etc, they obviously do not get read, also they also left medication on my wifes tray that was not for her, there was also tablets on the floor, and the toilets were not cleaned for two days the only positive outcome from this episode was the surgeon and his staff, who were very good, cannot praise them enough.
"bad experience"
